Emotive Art was designed as a platform to share creative, moving pieces with the world. Each print is part of a limited production set and each wreath is an original, making each piece a rare treasure. I design each work with a feeling in mind I want to convey and prepare everything by hand from start to finish. With my pencil art this means I find and photograph the animals myself before sketching, making a template, and finally colouring my design with coloured pencil!

Growing up on beautiful Shuswap Lake in the interior of BC, I spent a lot of time in nature and gained an appreciation for the peace and joy the natural world brings. Much of this is reflected in my work, which centers around plants and animals-especially cats, as I have a weakness for them! Because of this, you can always find at least one of them in my home, alongside my husband Garrett.
